Ingredients
  • 2 cups frozen zucchini
  • 2 cups frozen bananas
  • 1 packet frozen pitaya
  • ½ -1 cup almond milk
Instructions
  1. Place all the frozen fruit in the container of a high speed blender and ½ cup of the almond milk.
  2. Start to blend and add more almond milk as needed.
  3. Pour out the smoothie into a cold bowl (place in the freezer as you are preparing the smoothie).
Notes
Preparation is important for this recipe. For the frozen bananas and zucchini - peel and slice and place onto a baking tray before freezing. Check on it about an hour or two to ensure they frozen enough so that they don't stick to each other. At this point you can store in a freezer bag. I usually freeze all my fruit the day before (or more) before I use them.

Toppings for your bowl - wash, dry cut your berries and fruits before you start to blend the smoothie. Have all your other toppings like granola and nuts open and available on the counter before you start to blend.
